Kevin Corcoran, the painter
Exploring how Kevin Corcoran expresses his art
The human figure captivates me with its profound complexity, offering an inspiring challenge that ignites my passion. Capturing its vast array of expressions and subtleties is arguably the most thrilling aspect of painting, pushing me to new creative heights. Mastering the depiction of the human form has always been my artistic benchmark, empowering me to tackle other subjects with confidence and finesse

lady mabelle, the sculptor
about Lady Mabelle’s approach to sculpture
The Human form is a captivating subject for sculpting. Although anatomical knowledge is essential to understand the subject, it alone is insufficient to evoke emotions, posing a challenge in creating a masterpiece. Sculpting a human figure is a three-dimensional art form that fosters human connection through the emotions it elicits. Personally, sculpting the human figure should be more than the stillness of the pose or being anatomically right, sometimes it is how the sculpture makes one feel.
